How to fix a broken heel:

Women can relate to that frustrating awkward feeling of experiencing a broken heel. You are out and about being a go-getter and suddenly, snap! Here are some few tips to help you conquer those situations so you can quickly get back to crushing your daily goals.
Buying a new pair of shoes is an option, but I am guessing you would probably not want to do that especially if the shoe with the broken heel is your all-time favorite or just too expensive.

Sometimes all that may be required is just to re-insert the heel. You can carefully examine the breakpoints and see if it is possible to reattach the heel without using any nail or adhesive.  For heels that refuse to be simply reattached, glue is a solid option. It’s a good idea to always have a bottle of glue available at all times. Not just any glue, use super glue or wood glue, depending on the material composition of your shoe. Before applying the glue, scrape off the old glue from the heel and sole. Carefully align the heel with the shoe, apply the glue, apply pressure hold for a while and then leave it to dry.

If you happen to be close to Columbus Shoe Repair, lucky you! You can immediately get it fixed and carry on with your day. But if you are more of a DIY-type, you could buy leather tips and proceed to fix them yourself. Make sure the tip you get matches your shoe, you would also need a hammer and a good measure of toughness. Completely remove the previous heel and its nail, using your new best friend; the hammer and get hit the new heel into place and you are golden.
